Hexnode UEM subscription, everything you need to know

Hexnode UEM offers a unified digital workspace that enables you to securely manage and monitor your endpoint devices and provides access to corporate networks and resources. The management requirements of organizations differ from each other, from basic network and security settings for schools and small enterprises to advanced configurations and settings for corporate industries. The License plans in Hexnode are meticulously designed to suit these scaled customer demands.

Hexnode offers five different flavors of pricing – Express, Pro, Enterprise, Ultimate and Ultra. When you sign up for the 30-day free trial, by default, you are given the Ultra license. This allows you to familiarize yourself with the product and find its capabilities. However, you can subscribe to any of these flavors as per your requirements after the trial period.

Subscribe Hexnode

If you are looking forward to subscribing with Hexnode,

  1. Navigate to Admin > License and click on Subscribe.

    If you have already subscribed to Hexnode, you can change from the current plan or increase the license count instantly from the subscription page. This can be done by clicking on the Upgrade/Renew button, selecting Add more devices and finally, clicking on the device count to enter the total number of device licenses required. Please note that while adding more devices, the net payment must amount to at least 50 cents.

    Notes:

    • More than 100 devices? – You are eligible for a volume discount if you have more than 100 devices. Click on Contact Support and provide your contact details.
    • Education or Non-profit organization? – Get a discount for Education or non-profit organizations by clicking on Get in touch and provide your contact details.
    • Need a price quotation? – You can request a quote for the plan of your choice by clicking on Get Quote and provide your contact details.

  2. Choose one among the five plans and click on Subscribe. Now you’re on the subscription page showing the subscription details including the payment summary.

    Subscription Details

    • Total device count – Provide the total number of devices. A volume discount will be provided for 100+ devices.
    • Choose either a monthly/annual plan. An annual subscription saves more cost.
    • Click on Add-ons and provide the additional number of technicians required to access the portal. Each technician will cost you $30/month or $300/year based on your type of subscription.

    Payment Summary

    • It lists the total amount to be paid in USD.
  3. Click on Pay.
  4. Now you’re on the Purchase page showing the billing details and the payment mode.

Billing Details

  • Provide the billing details including the company name, business email, and address.

Payment Mode

Hexnode provides you with 6 different payment modes.

  • Credit/Debit card – Provide the card details and click on Checkout to complete the payment.
  • International bank transfer – A pro forma invoice will be generated while clicking on Generate invoice. Payment can be made within a period of 30 days. Once the payment is done, upload the proof of payment under Admin > License > Subscribe. The payment status will be changed from Awaiting Verification to Success only on verifying the payment by Hexnode. This may take up to 2 business days.
  • Domestic bank transfer – A pro forma invoice will be generated while clicking on Generate invoice. Payment can be made within a period of 30 days. Once the payment is done, upload the proof of payment under Admin > License > Subscribe. The payment status will be changed from Awaiting Verification to Success only on verifying the payment by Hexnode. This may take up to 2 business days.
  • Check – A pro forma invoice will be generated while clicking on Generate invoice. Write a check with the full amount (in USD) as mentioned in the invoice. Payment can be made within a period of 30 days. Once the payment is done, upload the proof of payment under Admin > License > Subscribe. The payment status will be changed from Awaiting Verification to Success only on verifying the payment by Hexnode. This may take up to 2 business days. The user must be subscribed to Pro or higher plans for making offline transactions, and the minimum payable amount is $180. Also, please note that handwritten checks will not be accepted.
  • Purchase Order (via Bank Transfer) – A pro forma invoice will be generated while clicking on Generate invoice. Payment can be made within a period of 30 days. Once the payment is done, upload the proof of payment under Admin > License > Subscribe. The payment status will be changed from Awaiting Verification to Success only on verifying the payment by Hexnode. This may take up to 2 business days.
  • Purchase Order (via Check) – A pro forma invoice will be generated while clicking on Generate invoice. Write a check with the full amount (in USD) as mentioned in the invoice. Payment can be made within a period of 30 days. Once the payment is done, upload the proof of payment under Admin > License > Subscribe. The payment status will be changed from Awaiting Verification to Success only on verifying the payment by Hexnode. This may take up to 2 business days. The user must be subscribed to Pro or higher plans for making offline transactions, and the minimum payable amount is $180. Also, please note that handwritten checks will not be accepted.
Notes:

  • For online payment mode, a transaction fee of $0.30 will be charged.
  • While adding/updating the card, a temporary authorization charge of up to $1 may be charged. This will be reversed later, and the charges will be removed from the bank statement in 7-10 business days.

Payment History

  • The Payment history shows the transaction details of all the payments, including the payment status.
  • For offline transactions, proof of payment is to be uploaded here.
  • Invoice Catalog lists the details of all the past transactions.
  • You can also download the previous invoices from here.

Uploading Proof of Payment

For offline payment mode,

  • The Proof of Payment needs to be uploaded under Admin > License > Subscribe.
  • You can upload the proof of payment under Payment History > Payment Details.
  • On uploading the proof of payment, the payment status will be changed from Pending to Awaiting Verification.
  • The payment status will be changed from Awaiting verification to Success only on verifying the payment by Hexnode. This may take up to 2 business days.
  • Changes in the existing plan or increase in device count will be reflected in the portal only on confirming the payment by Hexnode.

Hexnode Wallet

The additional amount charged while downgrading the plans/reducing the device count will be refunded and stored in the Hexnode Wallet. This amount will be used for the subsequent payments during the current billing period.

Notes:

On switching to a lower plan:

  • The features configured while in the higher plan will be removed in 7 days.
  • If Google, Microsoft or Okta domain configurations are not supported on the selected edition, the associated users or user domains will get removed. Thus, you will be prompted to configure the enrollment authentication modes and choose an alternative default user to assign the enrolled devices. Only the domains, users or user directories available for the selected subscription plan will be listed.
