How to Remove Apps from Apple TV?

Sometimes apps might require to be removed if you no longer need the app to be present on your device. With Hexnode UEM, you can initiate commands from the MDM console to remotely remove apps from your Apple TV.

Remove Apps from a single device

1. Navigate to Manage > Devices.
2. Click on the device from which app is to be removed. This takes you to the device summary page.
3. Click on Applications tab. Here, you will see the complete list of applications deployed on that specific device.
4. Click on the gear icon corresponding to the app to be removed and select Uninstall App.

Once clicked, a command is sent immediately to the device to start uninstalling the app and the apps will be removed successfully.

Remove Apps from the device via Uninstall Application action

1. Navigate to Manage > Devices.
2. Click on the device from which app is to be removed. This takes you to the device summary page.
3. Click on Actions drop down > Uninstall Application.
4. Find the app to be removed from the app inventory and click on Done.
