Hi Tom,

Here are the steps to change the name of an android device.

1.Log in to your Hexnode MDM Console.
2.Navigate to Management > Devices.
3.Click on the device name. You will be taken to the device summary page.
4.Click on the ✎ icon near the device name. Edit the new device name and click on ✓ to confirm.
OR

1.Log in to your Hexnode MDM Console.
2.Navigate to Management > Devices.
3.Select the checkbox corresponding to your device and click on Manage > Set Friendly Name.
4.Enter the new name for your device in the textbox provided and click on Save.

NOTE : The change in the device name will be reflected only on the server and not on the device.
